A Fijian massage is a ritualistic form of deep tissue massage, but it goes more in-depth than the deep tissue massage. Our therapist carries this out using his or her feet. There are times when parts of our bodies need more than normal hands and elbow massage to make it feel eased. Sometimes we need more outside weight to straighten our backs, or more pressure to press our muscles. Fijian massage attends specifically to this kind of need. Our therapist uses the deep tissue in its advanced form to administer this with the feet. This modality also includes stretching and range of motion techniques that are commonly practiced in Thai massage.
